DATAHOLICS at Open Innovation Contest 7.0, promoted by NTT DATA in Tokyo – Japan. (ENG)

The dreams of a boy from the 70s and already a technology aficionado in general was always focused on the most futuristic image that could come to mind: modern Tokyo and its illuminated skyscrapers and the atmosphere of modernity in games and robotics. enchanted us on this surprising mission to the other side of the world for the Open Innovation Contest 7.0, a worldwide battle of startups for open innovation in Japanese lands, led by the giant NTT DATA, spin off of one of the largest Japanese companies, NTT – owner of DOCOMO, Japan’s largest mobile operator and also from everis, a global consulting firm.

The welcoming atmosphere of the Japanese was surprising, showing themselves to be a respectful, attentive, effective and very pleasant people at all times! Apart from the atmosphere that surrounds the city of Tokyo, a global megalopolis full of style and personality.

The contest involved top-quality startups from major cities around the world such as Tel Aviv, Silicon Valley and more than 15 hubs of technology companies and startups, who competed in a 7-minute pitch each. The atmosphere was one of professionalism and diversity.

DATAHOLICS became national champion and was among the 4 finalists, surpassing major world powers and raising the country’s image in Japan, an important step for our country as it is the largest open innovation program managed by one of the largest companies in country technology. Representing Brazil with our SocialScore and all cutting-edge technology in the area of Artificial Intelligence was an achievement that was the result of a lot of effort and dedication, along with many DATAHOLICS partnerships, proving the level of our country!
